Question: Is the Inn of the Mountain Gods reopened yet? If not, when is it scheduled to open again?

Answer: The Grand Opening took place in May of 2005 and it was a heck of a show from what I remember. Plenty of fanfare and with good reason ... the folks spent over 200 million dollars on the place and it shows. A luxurious resort, Las Vegas-style gaming all in a most serene, yet spectacular natural setting. If you haven't been, you've got to see it in person to believe it, if you've already been ... you'll definitely return. Check the Inn's beautiful web site.

Question: How far is the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino from Ruidoso? Is it easy to get to?

Answer: Hey that's two questions we said only one! Aw just joshin' a bit ... anyway Ruidoso and the Inn are just about neighbors. 'Bout ten minutes by car from the town center puts you on the Mescalero Apache reservation and right outside this beautiful mountain palace. If you'd rather stay in town and just day trip to the Inn ... several lodging establishments offer weekend transportation. Here's a list at the Shuttle Ruidoso web site.
